BERRY CHIA JAM

This quick and easy jam is perfect on just about anything and the best part is you can make it as sweet or as tart as you like!

BERRY CHIA JAM

Makes 1-2 cups (Keeps in fridge for 1 week)

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup frozen berries

1/4 cup chia seeds

1 tbsp ground flax

1-2 tbsp maple (adjust to desired sweetness)

1/2 lemon

Directions:

Bring berries to a simmer on stove top (medium heat)

Once berries are mostly thawed (about 5-7 minutes) add chia and flax seeds and cook down for another 5 minutes stirring occasionally.

Add lemon and maple syrup mashing the berries while you stir to combine.

Cook down for another 5 minutes then move to a jar and let cool or serve warm!

Enjoy!

My guilty pleasure is a gooey pb & j on fresh sourdough with this jam!
